Nova has similar characteristics to Valentine (crack resistant, size and produces over a long period) and it has nice flavour. It is described by Johnny’s as follows: “Exclusive! Beautiful orange grape tomato. Borne on long trusses, Nova is a bright orange color with excellent, sweet flavour. Firm, meaty, 20–22 gm fruits resist cracking.” It is a vigorous indeterminate which means it should be staked, trellised or caged and pruned for best results. Fruit ripens over an extended period. One plant per 3.5” container.
