Kangaroo Paws - Tequila Sunrise
2022 was my first season for growing Kangaroo Paws. They are unique and lovely! They bloom through until frost. Some customers brought them inside and had good luck with over-wintering. I did not start these plants from seed but purchased the plugs from Jolly Farmer in New Brunswick. This is my first year for growing the colour Tequila Sunrise.
Jolly Farmer’s description is as follows: “This unique plant originates from Australia. The flowers show off a velvety tubular on upright fuzzy stems with clumps of sword-like leaves. Plant in 1-2 gallon pots or in your garden. Works well for cut flowers. Attracts birds, bees and butterflies. Height 24””. Drought tolerant. One plant per 3.5” container.
