Carmen is a sweet Italian pepper. It is early, adaptable, and notably sweet (especially when fully red-ripe) with a shapely tapered silhouette. Carmen begins green, then deepens to a beautiful carmine at maturity. Excellent roasted, grilled and in salads. We have been growing Carmen since 2020; it’s on our repeat list for a reason. Peppers love the sun and heat.
