Calendula is a staple crop for me and it is one of the prettiest, most sweet-smelling flowers! I am trialing this new variety, Fruit Burst. It is a mix of double flowers in yellow, deep orange and apricot with light and dark centers. The pollinators love Calendula. They are great in the garden, in pots and make lovely cut flowers. Once these babies start blooming, they last all season, even after a light frost! The more you cut calendula, the more it blooms. The scent of both the leaves and flowers is magical. The flower petals are edible. If you have a corner of your garden that you would like to brighten up that won’t require a lot of care, Calendula is a great choice. Plant Height: 18–26". The seeds are very easy to save and the plant will self-seed. Two plants per 3.5” container.
