Local, Natural, Fresh

My first season began with mainly vegetables and a few herbs and flowers.  The learning curve was steep (and still is).   Each season I seem to be adding more and more flowers to the mix.  I delight in seeing people interact with my flowers and enjoying the fresh, lush abundance.  I enjoy connecting with people through Mother Nature’s beauty.

Over the seasons my farm space hasn’t gotten larger but it is farmed intensively, efficiently and as environmentally-friendly as possible.  On this space, I use cover crops, low-till and crop rotation methods, always with Mother Nature in mind and abiding by her rules.  We are pesticide free; if we allow Mother Nature to work her magic, pests generally get taken care of naturally.

Besides watching Anna, my little girl grow, nothing gives me greater pleasure than planting a tiny seed and watching it develop into something beautiful and/or tasty.  Each crop is carefully researched, planned and quality seed sourced.  It is then cared for and nurtured until it is ready for harvest and to share with you!
